Born and raised in Southern California, my love of art was nurtured in high school. Later in life, I went back to school for advertising and graphic design and was able to utilize my creative side working in advertising. With my passion for painting, I continued to paint both watercolors and oils as time allowed.

In 2016, I quit my full-time job and began taking oil painting classes, studying with both portrait and landscape artists. I continue to take classes and workshops as well as participate in Plein air painting. I attend galleries, museums, and art shows to expand my knowledge of old masters and learn from new artist’s work. 

I am currently a member of Oil Painters of America, California Art Club, La Jolla Art Association and Meet Up (Plein air painting group). Having the opportunity to paint daily in my home studio, or outside, is truly a dream come true. I am currently painting with oils, using my travels to capture both landscapes and portraits. I have been growing my portfolio and do custom art/portraits upon request.

I study styles and utilize techniques of artists from the past and present whose work I admire. I have a passion for art and am proud of the body of work that I can call my own.  I truly feel blessed to be bringing my artistic dream to fruition and to have others enjoy my journey through art.
